A Vintage Wedding Guest Book

On November 13, good friends Maggie and Nate Myszka got married. My husband was on a year-long project to document the story of their wedding and I spent the event video taping for the first time. (We have yet to see what that turns out to be!) Maggie accepted my offer to make her a guest book. The "theme" was a kind of vintage simplicity in fall colors. The wedding was beautiful.

For the cover, I took large sheets of cardstock and used my folders on them in sections to emboss the entire paper. I like the end effect, even if there are little lines on the square embossing top. The vintage wallpaper one was easier to line up to make a continuous texture.

Guests were invited to write the bride and groom a message on a tag with this poem that I created with My Digital Studio and put in the inside front cover.
