Ok. Poetry might not be my strong suit this weekend. What a long week at my day job! Good thing I have this second job as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator! You may be starting here at Lily's Ink Pad or coming from Tanya's Tinkerin with Ink and her amazing projects using Itty Bitty Bits. She's a talented demonstrator! Either way, you'll have a great time circling around 20 other blogs in great big loop by clicking next blog at each stop!
Tart and Tangy is one of the 2010-2011 Idea Book and Catalog options for Sale-a-bration this year. Place a $50 order and this cute little set could be yours. I've loved this set for years, and was waiting for the chance to try out my skillz (as my students would say) with it again!
Immediately, I knew I needed to use bright colors. With a name like Tart and Tangy, subdued and muted, just weren't going to work. So, I brought my favorites and created this set of cards:
Daffodil Delight, Real Red, Pacific Point, Wild Wasabi, and Peach Parfait---great colors. Did I go overboard? If I did, excuse me. It's dreary here in Wisconsin in January.
Cards sets NEED a box, right? I designed this box:
Who wouldn't want such joy in a gift?
These colors I adore were inspired by something else--my sugar fix. I love sugar and I love jellied, sugary things, so I made this quick and easy treat bag.
I HAD to eat the leftovers, right?
Finally, I love these images so much I wanted to make something special and permanent that I could use in my daily life. We, (I), drink a lot of coffee and tea and sometimes I lose my cup. Ok, all the time. But, now, I have these little wine charms to claim my cup!
I used shrinky dink material and learned a lot. Stay tuned on Monday for those tips!
